Steven Montello entered the property management business in 1983 and five years later he began Mont Management, Inc. as his first entrepreneurial endeavor. Over the ensuing years and as his residential property business flourished, he created and administered the growth of a vertically integrated real estate asset management company. This corporation assumed a portfolio with 4,000+ residential property units and 300,000+ sq. ft. of commercial real estate space and was designed with ancillary services of residential and commercial brokerage, roofing and construction management and insurance brokerage to complement the property management portfolio. These four specialized divisions which included Mont Management, Beaudry Commercial, Antonelli Roofing and Maffucci Insurance, coupled with a skilled staff of over one hundred employees, comprised the effective structure of the renamed corporation, The Property Group of CT, Inc. (TPG).​

 

Steven Montello sold his shares in the TPG partnership in 2010 to pursue other real estate ventures. Most recently he managed, leased and renovated a 130 unit residential property in New Haven, CT which was later sold for 12+ million dollars. He has worked extensively with banks such as Capmark Financial Group, Inc., Berkadia and Cititrust in the management and sale of residential and commercial properties. 

 

Steven Montello is licensed in Connecticut as a Community Association Manager (CAI), Real Estate Broker and Insurance Broker. He is the former: President of the Stamford Public Education Foundation (SPEF), Stamford, CT; a Board of Representative District 13,: Stamford, CT, board member of the Stamford Chamber of Commerce, Stamford, CT; board member of the DSSD, Stamford, CT; board member of Burning Tree Country Club, Greenwich, CT. He has been quoted numerous times in the New York Times, local papers as well as property management publications and hosted a real estate radio talk show in Stamford, CT.
